NeverEnding Story collects minimal data to provide its services:
Device identifier: A randomly generated anonymous ID stored locally on your device, used to track your story generation queue and reading progress. This ID is not linked to your identity.
Push notification token: If you allow notifications, your device token is stored on our server to send you alerts when your story is ready. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Reading progress: Your current page and reading state are stored locally on your device only.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
When you create a story, your genre, hero, and theme choices are sent to our server and processed by AI models to generate your book. These choices are not linked to your identity.
All data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Push tokens and queue data are stored in simple JSON files on our server, not in third-party cloud services.
We do not share any data with third parties. Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service (APNs) as required by iOS.
To delete your data, simply uninstall the app. All local data (reading progress, device ID) is removed automatically. To request deletion of server-side data (push token, queue entries), contact us at the email below.
